Four months of fun!

Yahoo for 4 months!!!! This month was a big month for Ian!  He is talking up a storm and loves to make eye contact when you are talking to him, this makes it a little difficult to feedings because when I start talking he wants to look up at me...When he does he usually gives me a great big smile and melts my heart every time.
Oh that smile, it a great big one, he crinkles his nose and gives you all gums, it's funny because I think he has my smile but then again, he looks so much like Sam I will basically take any trait that he has of mine!

We are well over the 14lbs mark and we are very long, next week is his 4 month check up and we will get all of the stats but my guess is he is still in the 95% for height (shocker I know).  He wears a size two diaper which is crazy to me because he just flew through size one.  He fits great in a 3 month top but needs a 3-6 month pant because the 3 months are too short (again, shocker).

Work is going really well, I'm busy but I'm still able to go everyday at lunch to visit/feed Ian.  It really helps make my day fly by and I really love being able to check-in on him.  All of the girls at the daycare are amazing and Ian has taken a liking to one of them, Ms. Morgan.  Both Ms. Morgan and I joke because we are very similar personalities not to mention that both of us have brown hair. He still eats every 1.5 hour to 2 hours.  It's been a little hard with pumping but so far I have been able to keep up with Ian's food demand.

We finally got completely rid of thrush and I pray to God that it NEVER comes back!  It really put a damper on a lot of things (like taking a pacifier).  However, we are getting better and better with the paci right before bed so it's easier for him to fall asleep. He does suck on his fingers like it's going out of style but he have yet to discover our thumb!

He is starting to grab things with a purpose....he reaches out to his toys and will hold on to them.  He loves to grab on to Sam's shirt and my necklace.  I joke because it's like he's trying to make sure that we won't go anywhere.  He also loves to look at his reflection in the mirror.  He smiles at himself and everything.

I sing to him a lot, A LOT!  I make a lot of the songs up but usually I end up singing songs that I remember as a kid.  The one song that he is really into right now, is the song from Snow White when she is singing into the wishing well.... "I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming....of the one I love.....to find me, to find me....today.....today...."  I think the reason why he likes it so much is that I try and sound like Snow White which sounds really goofy.  :)

The day after the 6th we had a little bit of a scare...I woke him up to get him ready for daycare but he felt really hot, I took his temp and it was over 101*, I kinda played it off as maybe he was teething, but about 2 mins after he finished eating, he threw up all over me and himself.  THAT WAS NOT A TEETHING SIGN. I called the doctor and they told me to come in right away.  Turns out that he had/has UTI.  NO good!  So for three days I stayed home with him and tried to work from home.  Poor baby was very miserable and so was I to be honest.  Luckily his fever broke mid-afternoon yesterday and today he is back to his happy, active self.

Here are a few pictures from this month!
