A chance to say goodbye...

This week I lost my godfather (Kum) Will, my Kum will was more like a grandfather (Jedo) to me because my Jedo had passed away when I was only 8.  I loved my Kum very much and it was very sad to face the fact that it was his time.  I was lucky enough to see him two weeks before his death (I hadn't seen him in about a year because he was so sick).  When I saw him I knew it was my opportunity to tell him how much I loved him and "goodbye".  In the end, I'm so happy I took that moment and I'm so happy that my last words to him were, "I love you."

Its funny with such a big family I sometimes take those moments for granted, but it always goes to show you that you should always leave eachother with loving, kind words because you never know if you will be able to say them again.

I love you Kum and I know you are watching over all of us....

It's a.......................baby!!!

Well we finally found out what we are having!!!  So exciting!

We were able to see the baby to the full extent, we say it's brain, heart, legs, arms and everything else imaginable!  It was really a lot of fun and it was great for me to finally see all the movement "live" that I keep feeling (the kid likes to make itself a ball and move from one side to the other).

Sam and I weren't really hoping for a boy or a girl, we really just wanted to know what it was and that it was healthy!  When the nurse finally asked, "are you ready to find out what you were having?" We both started to freak out!  What is it, what is it!

IT'S A..........BOY!

We are thrilled, and we even have a name, but I think I'll keep that one until he comes into the real world (unless I have talked to you in person, then I'm sure I told you)!

He's growing more and more everyday (which means so am I!) and it's amazing to think that we are now officially HALF way there!

Here's some pictures!

Our Christmas will have the greatest present ever!

Well, I suppose I should make this "blog" official!  Sam and I are having a baby!  We are totally and incredibly excited!

Things have been great!  I have been feel great!  The first trimester I was dealing with only a few pregnancy symptoms and now that I'm in my second tri, I feel awesome.  The heat has been taking a toll on me, but lucky for me, they blast the AC at work that I'm never hot for too long.

We will find out the gender in about two weeks.  Both of us really don't care what we have, we just want it to be healthy (I really mean that....)  I think having a boy would be a blast because it would be something familiar with me and it won't be so strange for Sam.  I would love to have a girl first too....I just envision Sammy holding our baby girl in his arms and I melt at the thought!  So honestly, we don't care what we have!

Right now the baby is the size of a sweet potato (5.5 inches) and about 5 ounces.  I have felt the baby kick a few times which is totally surreal and awesome!

Yesterday we heard the heart beat and our doctor had a bit of a hard time getting the heart beat at a loud level because the baby moves A LOT. It's a strong heart beat and we can't wait to make sure everything else  passes with flying colors.

The baby is supposed to make it's debut on the 13th of December!

Here's the ultra sound pic from the 8 week mark, a picture of me at 6weeks, 11weeks and 15weeks (I'm almost 18 now and I think I'm showing A LOT MORE NOW!)
